What is privacy?

What personal information are we asking for?
When creating an account in our loyalty program My Starbucks Rewards, we collect information that is necessary for us to provide you with the best possible service. This includes name, telephone number, email address, date of birth, number of purchases, content of the order, price of the order and any discounts. For our corporate customers who use invoice payment, we will accept company name, organization number, contact person name, telephone number contact person / company, e-mail to contact person / company, invoice address with any remarks. When visiting one of our departments, we do not accept personal information or store the purchase by name, unless you as a customer want to use your pre-approved credit.
How is the personal information used?
As it appears from the description above, the personal information is used primarily to be able to provide service in the customer relationship. Should you be so unlucky that there was something wrong with your order, we will, if you contact us, find back to your order and will be able to give you compensation in accordance with our agreement. Personal information is also used to ensure that you as a customer receive the right order at the right time. The personal information is also used to give you as a customer good offers based on previous purchases.
Do we provide the information registered about you?
No, the information we collect will not under any circumstances be disclosed to third parties.
Right of access and right to correction and/or deletion?
It is important to us that you as a customer have access to and the opportunity to change your personal information at all times. For us, this means that your personal information is correct and complete so that we can always provide you with the best possible service. For you, this means that you always have an overview of what we have stored. If you want to change or gain access to information we have registered, you can do this in your account at starbucks.no. If you wish to terminate the customer relationship and in that way have all your personal information deleted from our register, you must contact us by email to [email protected]. Do not disclose your personal information on our Facebook page.
What do we register when visiting the website?
We automatically register your IP address and cookies when you visit our website. Cookies are cookies that are stored on your hard drive and say something about when you last visited us and which settings you chose. We do this in order to constantly be able to find out which parts of our website are most visited. In that way, you help us to improve. It is important to point out that this information is not linked to you as a person and has nothing to do with your personal information.
If you use our services from a mobile phone, we will ask for permission to find your location based on the phone's mechanisms for this. We do this to be able to know which departments are closest to you. You do not have to give permission to use the service, but it will improve your experience.
If you log in via Facebook, and give us consent, we will retrieve the following information from your Facebook profile:
- Name (first name and last name)
- E-mail address
We use this information to fill in fields in the customer registration.
In our cafes, Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa, Diners, American Express and BankAxept are accepted. We use approved EMV terminals from Verifone and Netaxept where we support online payment.
In addition, Norwegian coins and banknotes rounded up to the nearest unit are accepted. New payment solutions can be added in line with our customers' wishes.
If you order online, the same credit cards and BankAxept are supported. The company can apply for credit with us and in this way choose "Invoice" as the payment solution.
